New Patient Information
Before Your Visit
For your convenience, we offer online scheduling and new patient paperwork. But we understand that many patients prefer to disconnect from devices as much as possible, so if you prefer doing things “old school,” we are more than happy to schedule by phone and give you time to complete your paperwork in the office.
Your First Visit
When you walk into our comfortable, relaxed office, our upbeat front office staff will greet you by name and take care of the paperwork. They’ll also help with any insurance questions and verification.
Next, Dr. Roderick will spend time listening and getting to know you. Then he’ll explain the biomechanics of your situation so you understand why you’re feeling the way you feel.
We have found over our decades in practice that most patients want to know three things:
- What is the problem?
- Do you know how to fix it?
- How much will it cost?
We address these concerns directly and honestly. If we don’t think we can help you, we’ll tell you that and refer you to someone we trust. And we promise each patient we will give them our very best-and we deliver on that promise.
After a thorough exam, Dr. Roderick will adjust you for the first time. This first visit typically takes about 45 minutes.
Follow-up Visits
Depending on your specific needs, you’ll generally receive your soft tissue therapies first and then get adjusted at the end of your visit. Follow-up visits usually last about 20 minutes. We don’t make you come back for follow-up visits forever-we get you back to optimal function and turn you loose! If you prefer regular care, that’s great too, but with us that’s always your call.
